Shogun's Reign Guides & Walkthroughs

From hub teleport to housing, roles, and customization in the Province.

Last updated:

Welcome to the Guides Hub for [将] Shogun’s Reign on Roblox—an Edo-period Japan roleplay and progression life sim where you start poor, earn Ryō through labor and trade, build reputation, and climb toward warrior, noble, and eventually Shogun aspirations.

This hub maps every how-to on the wiki. Use it when you need a concrete walkthrough instead of a ranking or roster page. For role strength comparisons, pair these tutorials with the Tier List Hub and Players Hub.

Getting Started

New to the experience? Begin with the first-session guide. It covers joining from the official place, the 1-player hub that teleports you into the Province main world, early Ryō goals, and how not to confuse this title with similarly named combat alphas. Read this before you commit to a long role grind.

Role and labor guides

Community-confirmed roles already have dedicated pages:

Merchant role

Run a stall, manage stock such as turnips and cabbage, and learn how merchant loops turn inventory into steady Ryō. Ideal if you prefer trade tempo over field work.

Farmer role

Work the fields for an accessible early-money path. Farming is one of the clearest on-ramps when you spawn with almost nothing and need reliable income before housing upgrades.

Service roles

Covers etiquette-forward jobs such as Attendant (laundry, footwear customs, bathhouse duties), Isha (医者—physician-like care), and Performer (songs and the Instrument Master badge path). Use this when you want social RP loops instead of pure crop or stall grinding.

Artisan role

Craft-leaning middle path named with farmer, merchant, and retainer in official progression language. Practical RP and money discipline without invented recipes.

Cross-check which jobs feel strongest for your goals on the roles tier list and track attempts with the role checklist tool.

Systems guides

Housing

Shogun’s Reign includes a housing claim system. This guide explains how claiming a house fits into wealth and reputation progression, what to prepare before you lock a property, and how housing differs from the Robux Private Domain pass.

Customization

Build your OC properly: name, head, scale, height, outfits, species, bio, tags, and weapons. Species options include at least Ryūjin (full list still being documented—see Species). Pairs with optional appearance Game Passes.

Game Passes

Honest Robux shelf: Custom Name, hair/accessory/adjustment slots, Extra Save Slots, +10 Inventory, Private Domain, plus off-sale Clan Ownership and Tedai notes. Optional convenience—not pay-to-win progression.

Private Domain

Deep dive on the 250 R$ custom-province pass (12 Sep 2026): how it differs from ordinary housing claims, who should buy it, and what remains undocumented.

Clans

Clan Ownership is off-sale. Create clans via the social server and contact Haru or Meiko. Explains how households support status play toward retainer/noble/Shogun fantasies.

How to use this hub with the rest of the wiki

  • Progression context — After a guide, read Players / Progression and Badges so you know how labor connects to reputation and awards.
  • Codes — There are no active promo codes yet; guides remain the main path to Ryō.
  • Updates — Mechanics can shift after patches; skim the Updates hub when a guide step no longer matches the live UI.
  • Official surfaces — Confirm place, group, and owner links on the wiki / Official Links page before you trust a random tutorial elsewhere.

Guide writing standards on this wiki

Every guide aims for practical steps, internal links to related roles, and FAQ answers for common searches (how to get Ryō, how to claim a house, how to start as Merchant or Farmer). We do not invent unverified YouTube embeds—there are no confirmed tutorial video IDs for this title yet—so text walkthroughs stay primary.

If you are returning after a break, skim Getting Started again, then jump to the role you actually play. Housing, customization, and Game Passes matter once you have a stable income loop. Service and artisan paths shine for RP depth; Merchant and Farmer shine when you need wallet growth.

Suggested learning path

  1. Getting Started — hub → Province, first Ryō
  2. Pick Farmer or Merchant for early cash; consider Artisan once surplus exists
  3. Unlock comfort systems via Housing and Customization
  4. Branch into Service roles for etiquette, care, and performance loops
  5. Optional Robux: Game Passes, Private Domain; social hierarchy via Clans
  6. Plan long-term status with Progression, Badges, and role tiers

Explore every guide below through the links above, then return here whenever you switch jobs or a new Province system ships.
